How old is our sun?





Research proved that our sun is nearly about 4.5 to 5 billion years old. However, we don not know it's birthday.

The distance between the sun and earth is about 149,597,880 km~ (1Au).
Our sun is a part of "Milky Way" galaxy.


Our nine planets in our solar system revolve around our sun. They are mercury, Venus, earth, mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto. These planets have been divided into earth like planets and jupiter like planets.


1. Earth-like planets : Mercury, venus, earth and mars.


2. Jupiter-like planets : jupiter, saturn, uranus and neptune.



Pluto is either earth like nor jupiter like.Pluto is also called as "frozen planet" . Our nearest star in our galaxy is our sun.



Egyptian mythology :


Egyptian mythology believed and worshipped sun god Re or Ra, a creator of light. They also believed mankind was born from the tears of Ra. Ra created Shu and Tefnut. They are the parents of earth and sky.




Greek mythology :


Greek mythology believed that "Helios" was their sun god. The one who drove sun across sky from east to west in his golden chariot.

About outer space

It is still a great mystery that how far the space go.
